East Orange, New Jersey: A concert is coming to East Orange this week. The Kids Jazz concert will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 12:30pm at the Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts. Bassist Mimi Jones will perform at the event, which is free and opened to the public. Attendees will learn more about jazz history, including the Greaat Migration and the Harlem Renaissance. The concert will be presented by the Cicely Tyson School Jazz Band and WBGO Jazz 88.3FM. The Cicely Tyson School is located at 35 Winans Street, between William and Main Streets.
