Orange, New Jersey: A franchisee of AT&T is in the process of opening a retail location in Orange. The AT&T Authorized Retail Store will be located in the space formerly occupied by RadioShack at 304 Main Street in Downtown Orange, between Subway and Dunkin' Donuts. The RadioShack location in Orange was one of several that closed when the struggling electronics company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. The only remaining Essex County RadioShack locations are in West Orange and the Ivy Hill neighborhood of Newark's West Ward. There are several AT&T retailers in the area already, with nearby locations in South Orange and Irvington.
