Newark, New Jersey: After several months of building renovations, a Nike Factory Store location has opened in Downtown Newark. The store, located at 697 Broad Street, opened to customers this morning. Hundreds of Newarkers descended on the store throughout the day, and coupons were given to all entrants. The store is within Prudential's new Shoppes on Broad development, which also features a Starbucks Coffee location. Blaze Pizza will join the two retailers later this year. The space now occupied by Nike Factory Store had been occupied by Valu-Plus until 2012.
