Irvington, New Jersey: A Subway franchisee has opened another location of the international sub sandwich chain in Essex County. The new restaurant is located in Irvington at 10-30 Mill Road at the corner of Stuyvesant Avenue, near the Maplewood border.
It is located in a plaza that contains a City Supermarket location and a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, which opened earlier this year. The plaza has undergone renovations in the past five years. Until 2008, it contained a C-Town Supermarket, a Chinese takeout restaurant, and a laundromat.
This is the second Subway location in Irvington. There is another restaurant on Springfield Avenue.
