Newark, New Jersey: A forum regarding policing in Newark will be held next month in University Heights. Rutgers University-Newark's Center for Law and Justice's program will discuss police body cameras, Newark's new civilian police review board, and the federal monitor consent degree with the Newark Police Department. It will be held on Wednesday, November 11th beginning at 6:00pm. Sponsors include the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, New Jersey Communities Forward, the Urban League of Essex County, the Rutgers University-Newark School of Criminal Justice, Noble, the NAACP, and the New Jersey Attorney General's Office.
