Livingston, New Jersey: A new community for senior citizens is being built in Livingston.
Brandywine Senior Living at Livingston will be located at 369 East Mount Pleasant Avenue/Route 10, at the corner of Force Hill Road. It is slated to open in 2016. It will feature a variety of private suites, dining options, an indoor pool, and a movie theater.
This will be the first Brandywine center in Essex County. Most state locations are in Central and Southern New Jersey.
Construction is currently underway at the site, which was formerly occupied by the Salaam Shrine Center of Livingston. Salaam Shrine Center was torn down at the end of the summer, and the organization moved to Fairfield.
