Millburn, New Jersey: The Millburn Free Public Library will hold a digital preservation event on Sunday, November 15th, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The event will be sponsored by The Millburn-Short Hills Historical Society. Attendees can bring "personal collections of print, photographs, slides, and audio-visual material, including VHS videos, 8mm and 16mm movies" to be converting to digital files by Digital Memory Media at a discounted price. Materials will be taken in by the company to be converted, and will be returned to attendees at a later point at the Short Hills Train Station Museum of the historical society. The society will take a percentage of proceeds from each purchase. The library is located near the Millburn Train Station at 200 Glen Avenue, at the corner of Lackawanna Place. Click here to learn more.
