Local Talk Newspaper Moves to Newark

Newark, New Jersey: A local newspaper has moved to Newark.

Local Talk News was formerly based in Orange, but is now located within the Academy Building in Downtown Newark. The weekly newspaper's Newark office held a ribbon cutting celebration with Congressman Donald Payne, Jr. on August 25th.

The newspaper, which is published by Dhiren Shah, was founded in 2000.

According to an article published on the newspaper's website, moving to Newark was "the only way they'd advertise" with Local Talk, referring to Mayor Ras Baraka and his Chief of Staff.

The Academy Building is located at 17 Academy Street near the Prudential Headquarters. Click here to learn more.
