Car Show Coming to Newark's Forest Hill Section


Newark, New Jersey: The Third Annual Hot Rods and Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday, September 13th in Newark's Forest Hill neighborhood. The event will be presented by the Mount Prospect Partnership. From 11:00am to 4:00pm, Mount Prospect Avenue will be closed off between Heller Parkway and Delevan Avenue as community members view historic vehicles. There will also be music, food, and activities for children. Vehicle registration costs $15 in August and $20 in September. Proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen of North Jersey. Registration forms can also be picked up at the Petolino Florist, located at 650 Mount Prospect Avenue, between Elwood Avenue East and Heller Parkway. Click here to learn more.
