Bloomfield, New Jersey: The Township of Bloomfield will host an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 25 from 10:30pm to 3:00pm next to the Bloomfield Public Library. Activities will include art and reading projects for toddlers, rain-barrel and composting demonstations, and discussions on recycling and gardening. Plus, the Montclair Art Museum's Art Truck will make an appearence, and will offer a variety of activities to attendees. Music will be provided by the Folk Project. In addition, free tree seedlings will be distributed to Bloomfield residents on a first come first served basis. Participating groups include the Bloomfield Recycling Committee, the Master Gardeners of New Jersey, and the Open Space Trust Fund Committee. The Bloomfield Public Library is located at 90 Broad Street. Greener Bloomfield is sponsoring this event. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.
