7-Eleven Opens Within Newark's Kinney Building

Newark, New Jersey: 7-Eleven is celebrating the grand opening of a new location in Essex County's largest city. The new franchise of the international convenience store chain is located within the Kinney Building, next to a Bank of America location. A grand opening celebration is being held at the store today. Dozens of 7-Eleven franchises operate in Essex County, including a location on Route 21/McCarter Highway in Newark. The Kinney Building is located at 790 Broad Street, near the southeast quadrant of the 'Four Corners' of Broad and Market Streets. The space was previously occupied by The Avenue Clothing Store and the American Mattress and Furniture Warehouse.

Krauszer's, a regional convenience store chain, also operates a location near the 'Four Corners'.
