Forum Regarding Addiction in Livingston Tomorrow



Livingston, New Jersey: A forum regarding addiction and healing in New Jersey will be held in Livingston.

The Saint Barnabas Medical Center will host the event, which will be a panel discussion between local and national leaders, tomorrow, August 8th, from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Participants will include United States Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker, United States Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, and David Shulkin from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Topics discussed will include heroin and opioid addiction in the state. The forum will be sponsored by RWJBarnabas Health, the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, and the U.S. Public Health Service.

Saint Barnabas Medical Center is located at 94 Old Short Hills Road. Transportation is available using Buses 31 and 73 from Newark. Admission is free, and interested attendees can register here.
