Fairfield, New Jersey: A child passenger safety seat event will be held in Fairfield on Saturday, September 19th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The event, which will be presented by the Fairfield Police Department, will be held in the parking lot Essex County's sole Target store, located within the township. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees can have their "child's seat safely installed by a certified technician". According to the FPD, "80% of all child passenger safety seats are installed incorrectly". Sponsors include AAA, Target Stores, SafeKids of Northern New Jersey, and the Avalon Center.
