Community Storefront Coming to Newark's North Ward

UPDATE: The grand opening celebration date will be postponed.

Newark, New Jersey: A new community storefront will open in Newark's North Ward.

According to the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation, "the incubator aims to build a coalition of business owners, entrepreneurs and community stakeholders".

It will be located at 216-218 Bloomfield Avenue, between Parker Street and Highland Avenue.

The space, located near Branch Brook Park, had been vacant for over a year, but was previously occupied by The Hobart West Group and Staff Management Group.

The first community storefront opened last year on Clinton Avenue in the South Ward, and another one opened earlier this year on South Orange Avenue in the West Ward.
