Restaurants and Retailers to Open at Springfield Avenue Marketplace

Newark, New Jersey: Several businesses will join the new Springfield Avenue Marketplace development in Newark's Central Ward.

According to Ripco Real Estate, Roberto's Pizza, Angel Nails, Huddle House, and H&R Block will all open locations within the Springfield Avenue Marketplace.

H&R Block operates six other tax preparation locations across the city, and Roberto's Pizza has other Essex County locations in East Orange, Montclair, and Newark's South Ward. Huddle House, a Georgia-based chain of restaurants that serve breakfast all day, is also opening a location in East Orange. Angel Nails has no other locations.

The development, located south to north between Springfield and South Orange Avenues and east to west between Prince and Jones Streets, already contains a ShopRite supermarket and the 24 Jones apartment building.

Previously announced retailers include McDonald's, Taco Bell, Sarku Japan, and Popeyes.
