Millburn, New Jersey: Construction is underway on a new mixed use development in Downtown Millburn.
A residential and commercial building is being built next to the main Millburn Post Office at 296-298 Millburn Avenue, between Wittingham Terrace and Rawley Place. The building will contain apartments and first floor retail space. The property had been a vacant lot for several years, and although a development has been planned for the site for close to a decade, construction only recently began.
The Millburn Township Planning Board approved the project in 2013.
