Newark, New Jersey: A new pet supply store will open in the North Ward of Newark. Bully Zone Pet Supplies will be located in the Route 21 Shopping Plaza at 1427 McCarter Highway/Route 21, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. It will sell a variety of food, toys, collars, leases, and other supplies for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other pets. This will be the only pet supply store in the North Ward of the city. All of Newark's other pet supply stores are in the South and East Wards. The space, next to Plaza 21 Coffee Shop, was previosly occupied by Mike's Jewelry. The plaza opened in the summer of 2009 at the site of a vacant lot. Click here to learn more.
