Coat Donations Being Accepted in Newark

Newark, New Jersey: A local government office is accepting donations for local residents in need. The Deeds and Mortgages office of the Essex County Register, former Newark councilwoman Dana Rowe, is collecting coats from now until Thursday, December 31st. The office is within the Essex County Hall of Records in the University Heights neighborhood of Newark's Central Ward. The winter coats should be new or slightly used, and will be accepted on weekdays from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The office is closed on holidays. The Essex County Hall of Records is located at 465 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, between West Market Street and Springfield Avenue. Click here to learn more.
