Celebrate the First Anniversary of the Brick City Comedy Revue

Newark, New Jersey: The first anniversary of the Brick City Comedy Revue will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28th at 9:00pm at the Kilkenny Alehouse in Downtown Newark. The first anniversary show will be hosted by Brick City Comedy Revue producers Justin Williams and Steve Serra, who are both Newark-area based stand-up comedians.

Williams told Essex County Place that the "show is essentially a free celebration of Newark", and is a "showcase for the best comedians working in the NYC metro area".

Comedians at the event will include Ndidi Oriji of Brooklyn's Comedy Diaspora show, Jeffrey Joseph, who was a writer for 'In Living Color', Josh Gondleman, a writer for HBO's 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver', Mike Cannon of Comedy Central's 'The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore', and Charla Lauriston, a writer for Netflix's 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'.

Kilkenny Alehouse is located at 27 Central Avenue at the corner of Halsey Street.

The Brick City Comedy Revue presents free shows on the last Thursday of every month at 9:00pm at Kilkenny Alehouse.
