Become a Certified Newark Treekeeper


Newark, New Jersey: The New Jersey Tree Foundation will present a series of TreeKeepers Workshops in June. The classes will include tree biology on June 9th, tree planting on June 16th, tree disease and hazards on June 23rd, and environmental impacts on June 30th. Each session will be held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The workshops will take place at the Greater Newark Conservancy, and will be free of charge to Newark residents. Non-residents will be charged $20 per session. Those who attend all four sessions will become a Certified Newark Treekeeper, and each session will allow for participants to earn 1.5 CEU, which can be applied to the New Jersey Community Forestry Plan requirements.
