Newark, New Jersey: The Newark Museum and the Newark Fire Department Historical Association will host the 48th annual Fireman's Fair this Sunday, June 7th from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Visitors can see the annual parade of Antique Fire Trucks at 12:30pm, learn more about fire safety by visiting a 'smoke house', view demonstrations, create paintings, and create a miniature fire truck. There will also be a performance by the Newark Fire Department's Pipe and Drum Band. Attendees can also tour the Newark Fire Museum, which is located adjacent to the main Newark Museum building. The Newark Museum is located at 49 Washington Street, and can be accessed by taking the Newark Light Rail to Atlantic Street Station or Washington Park Station, or by taking New Jersey Transit buses 11, 13, 27, 28, 29, 44, and 72. Parking is available at the Central Parking lot for a fee.
