Help the World Mission Society Clean Up Branch Brook Park

Newark, New Jersey: The World Mission Society Church of God will organize a cleanup of the oldest county park in the United States. Branch Brook Park, a 360-acre park in Newark and Belleville, opened in 1895. The cleanup will take place this Sunday, June 14th from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The church will partner with the Branch Brook Park Alliance and Essex County Parks to work on cleaning up certain areas and garden in others. Over 50 church members will help volunteer, however, members of the general public are encouraged to come assist. This will be the first World Mission Society cleanup of Branch Brook Park. Branch Brook Park can be accessed using local New Jersey Transit buses and the Newark Light Rail. To learn more, or to inquire about volunteering, call the World Mission Society Church of God at (540) 422-1776.
