Newark Museum to Celebrate Korea Day


The Newark Museum will celebrate Korean art and culture at 'Korea Day' on Saturday, March 14 from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. According to the museum, there will be performances by drummer Jiwhan Choi, the Korean Traditional Dance Academy, and the Korean Traditional Music and Dance Institute of New York. In addition, visitors can participate in workshop activities, which will include kite making, calligraphy, and storytelling. Gallery tours will be available. The festivities are included with museum admission, which is free for Newark residents.

The museum is located at 49 Washington Street, and is accessible by taking the Newark Light Rail to Washington Park Station. Bus service is also avalible, and lot parking is available for a fee.
