Clean-up events will take place in two Essex County parks in April.

On Saturday, April 11, the Brookdale Park Conservancy will sponsor a clean-up event from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Brookdale Park's overlook and rock garden. Children ages 6 and older are welcome to assist in volunteering. Volunteers should prepare to work in muddy and wet conditions. Brookdale Park is located in Bloomfield and Montclair, and entrances are located on Watchung Avenue, Grove Street, and Bellevue Avenue.

On Saturday, April 18, the Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy will host a Spring clean-up from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Volunteers should meet outside of the playground gate. To volunteer, register by calling (862) 505-2243 or by sending an email to gcpc2001@gmail.com. Groups are welcome. Bags will be provided, though volunteers are advised to wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and gloves. Grover Cleveland Park is located in Caldwell and Essex Fells near the corner of Runnymede Road and Brookside Avenue.
