Montclair, New Jersey: Another new restaurant is coming to Montclair.
Bluff City BBQ is proposed for 21 Midland Avenue in Montclair Center, between Bloomfield Avenue and Portland Place. According to a statement, the new business, which will be owned by Nutley native Scott Hermo, is slated to open in October. Memphis, Tennessee-style barbecue foods like beef brisket, pulled chicken, and ribs will be served. Patrick Pierre-Jerome from Hat City Kitchen in Orange will be the Executive Chef at Bluff City.
The space, located across from the Union Baptist Church, was previously occupied by Osteria Giotto, which closed in July.
