Newark, New Jersey: The New Jersey Institute of Technology in the University Heights section of Newark's Central Ward will host a conference regarding water. The New Jersey Urban Water Conference will be held on Thursday, December 10th, from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
The program, which will be presented by New Jersey Future's Urban Water Solutions Initiative, will feature a variety of speakers, including U.S. Water Alliance CEO Radhika Fox, Commissioner Bob Martin of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Joan Leary Matthews of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and representatives from Xylem, the National Association of Water Companies, PUSH Buffalo, and Cooper Ferry Partnership. The moderator will be New Jersey Business and Industry Association president Michele Siekerka.
NJIT's Campus Center is located off of Bleeker Street. Transportation is available using the Warren Street/NJIT Station on the Newark Light Rail.
