CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children of Essex County will host the “The Ruby Red Shoe Ball” on Saturday, November 1st from 7pm to 11pm at Green Brook Country Club in North Caldwell. CASA provides advocacy services for foster children in Essex County. Organizers of the event seek to raise funds and awareness for direct advocacy of children in foster care.

She has held several roles within the Junior League, including being Chair of the Junior Leagues of NJ State Public Affairs Committee. Devine-Harms helped draft that Human Trafficking Prevention, Protection, and Treatment Act during her time as Chair. Currently, Devine-Harms leads a mentoring group for girls in Newark.

“Our entire board and event committee has just been so humbled by her contributions and accomplishments", said Executive Director Karen Burns. "We know she will inspire so many and we are thrilled to be able to shine a light on the work she has done".
