Learn About Newark's History at the Durand-Hedden House


Newark, New Jersey: A historic house in suburban Maplewood will host a program about the history of urban Newark. The Durand-Hedden House and Garden will welcome Elizabeth Del Tufo of the Newark Preservation and Landmarks Committee on Sunday, November 15th from 1:00am to 4:00pm. Del Tufo's presentation, 'Newark Through the Ages' will discuss the history of the United States' third oldest city, which is preparing to celebrate 350 years. Attendees will learn about Newark's historic landmarks and its future. The Durand-Hedden House and Garden is located opposite Jefferson Elementary School at 523 Ridgewood Road. Click here to learn more.
