Newark, New Jersey: A new restaurant has opened in Newark's Central Ward.
Resa Grill and Catering opened in University Heights at 12 Lock Street, between Sussex Avenue and Central Avenue. Salads, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts are served at the restaurant, which opened earlier this month. The space near the New Jersey Institute of Technology had been vacant for several years, but was occupied by a rental car facility until 2008.
According to the Forest Hill Community Association, Resa Grill is owned by Newarkers Donald Reid and Steve Sacco.
