Cost of Admission to Increase at Thomas Edison NHP

West Orange, New Jersey: Get ready to pay more to visit Essex County's only National Park Service site. The cost of admission to Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange will increase starting this weekend.

The regular adult admission will increase from $7 to $10, and an annual pass will increase from $30 to $40. Admission to Thomas Edison National Historical Park includes access to the Laboratory Complex on Main Street and the Glenmont Mansion in Llewellyn Park. Admission will remain free of charge to those under the age of 16 and to National Park pass holders.

Several other National Park Service facilities, including the Ford Mansion at Morristown National Historical Park in Morris County, are also increasing the cost of admission. Thomas Edison National Historical Park, along with most other National Park Service sites, is free on select days each year. The next free admission day is on the National Park Service's Birthday, August 25th.
