New Exhibit at Rutgers-Newark's Library

Newark, New Jersey: A local university library will be opening a new exhibit this week.

The John Cotton Dana Library at Rutgers University–Newark is hosting 'Spring Sutras', which, according to the university, "features thousands of recycled catalog cards that cascade in hand-sewn, brilliantly translucent strands from a two-story-high skylight, surrounding and touching viewers as they move through the space". Admission to the exhibit is free, and the public is welcome. It will be on display until the fall.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 2nd, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Dana Library is located at 185 University Avenue in the Central Ward, just up the steps from the sign pictured above.
