Fairfield, New Jersey: A QuickChek location will open in Northwestern Essex County. According to QuickChek.com, a new location is being constructed in Fairfield, and is slated to open this fall. It will be the 157th location of the Readington Township, Hunterdon County-based chain of convenience stores. There are currently no QuickChek locations in the Township of Fairfield, though there are locations in Montclair, Roseland, and in nearby Little Falls and Wayne in Passaic County, and in Parsippany in Morris County. The new location is being constructed next to Dunkin Donuts at the Exxon gas station site at 384 Passaic Avenue, off of Route 46, near Essex County's only Target location.
