Adult Day Care Center Planned for Orange

Orange, New Jersey: A new health services facility could be coming to Essex County.

According to a legal notice released by the City of Orange Township Planning Board, a company based in Maple Shade, Burlington County is planning an adult day care center for 440 Washington Street in Orange, between Bradford Street and Watchung Avenue. Part of the site extends across the township border into West Orange.

There would be 20 parking spaces and handicapped access to the facility, which would be called Heritage Adult Enrichment Center, should it be approved. General Pneumatics used to operate at the site.

The Orange Planning Board will hold a public hearing regarding the plan on Wednesday, July 27th, beginning at 7:30pm, at City Hall.
