Strawberry Festival Returning to West Orange's Gregory School

West Orange, New Jersey: The season of Essex County public school strawberry festivals has returned, and one local school will host one this weekend.

West Orange's Gregory Elementary School is holding its 78th Annual Strawberry Festival this Saturday, June 11th, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. According to Gregory PTA Membership Chair Amy Hains, there will be inflatable rides, games, crafts, dancing, face painting, and pony rides. Admission costs $12 for children ages 4 and up. Adults and children under 4 will be admitted free to this event, which is open to the public. Fresh strawberry desserts to benefit the Gregory PTA will be available for purchase. In case of rain, the event will be held the following day.

Gregory Elementary School is located at 301 Gregory Avenue, at the corner of Walker Road.

Schools in Millburn-Short Hills and Nutley also host strawberry festivals each year.
