Spring Block Party Returning to Greater Newark Conservancy


Newark, New Jersey: One of Newark's annual spring traditions is returning to the city this weekend.

The Greater Newark Conservancy's Outdoor Learning Center will hold the Spring Block Party this Saturday, May 7th, from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Admission to the event is free and open to the public. There will be a petting zoo, face painting, local vendors, and a plant sale. In addition, the Youth Farm Stand will sell Newark-grown produce.

The Greater Newark Conservancy is located in the former Oheb Shalom Congregation at 32 Prince Street in the Central Ward, between South Orange Avenue and Springfield Avenue. Transportation is available using the Coach USA 31 Bus and NJ Transit's 25 Bus.
