Child Identification Day Coming to Nutley

Nutley, New Jersey: Does your child have their own identification card? If not, consider registering for this event in Northeastern Essex County. The Township of Nutley and the Nutley Police Department will hold Child Identification Day on Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Nutley Police headquarters. Parents and guardians can come to this event to pick up a free identification card, which is the size of a credit card, for their child or children. Although they are not considered to be a valid government identification card, each card contains a photograph, description of the child, a thumbprint, and emergency response procedures. Those interested in obtaining a card must register in advance online. No registrations will be accepted after Friday, September 25th. Click here to learn more, or call Chief Thomas J. Strumolo, Jr. at (973) 284-4947.
