Short Hills, New Jersey: Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills will host two 'behind the scenes' tours. Tours will be available from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesdays August 25th and September 15th. Attendees will be guided by Greenwood Gardens facilities director Rich Murphy while learning about the recent restoration project and the steps taken to create this public garden. Tickets, which cost $10 for members and $20 for the general public, must be purchased in advance. The gardens, which opened to the public in 2013, are set on 28 acres. The property was originally home to real estate broker Joseph Day, followed by attorney Peter P. Blanchard, Jr. It features a pasture, a formal garden, and a tea house.
