24-Hour Art Marathon Coming to Arts Unbound

An Orange organization will host a 24-hour art marathon in May. Arts Unbound, of Freeman Street, will start the 24-hour art making session at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 16 and conclude it at 12:00pm the following day. Artists can participate at the Arts Unbound studio and gallery, at participating locations, or in their own home. Participants can join in for as many hours as they like, as they raise pledges for each artwork created. Visitors are welcome to come to the studio to watch the artists or participate. Artists that raise the most pledges or participate for all 24 hours will receive prizes from Jerry's Artist Outlet in West Orange. All works created will be auctioned off on Friday, May 22, with proceeds going to benefit Arts Unbound, an organization that is "dedicated to the artistic achievement of people living with disabilities and seniors".
